Studio 8 is please to announce the introduction of it’s first in a series of ‘hands on’ practical recording workshops. The series are designed to teach the art, and technology of recorded music production while focusing on industry standard recording mediums. Each student will be equipped with a practical range of sound and recording techniques. Studio Orientation S8so.01 This course explores the basic principles of digital audio recording. The fundamentals and applications of recording consoles, patch bays, digital workstations and recording software. It will also explain basic recording session procedures with an emphasis on instrument preparation, microphone placement, EQ, and the understanding the different roles outboard gear plays.
